Cultivating a Woodlands Imagination
If your child has an imagination that is more focused on the outdoors and animals and other woodlands creatures and outdoor activities, then there are many things you can provide to them to make them feel that much more a part of nature and will allow them to discover and explore many fun and new and interesting things.
Backpacks and Bags
First, you will want to make sure that your toddler with a woodlands imagination has a backpack or bag handy so they can store all those treasures they find while out exploring.
With many available selections with varied styles, you are sure to find something your toddler will love such as a bee backpack or even a tree frog.
Next, you will want to give them a teepee, so they can “camp out” under the stars after a long day of fun and exploration. Teepees can be a cute and even stylish way to allow your toddler to cultivate more of an imagination and offers them a place to relax and rest after a long day of playing.
Puzzles and Blocks
Puzzles and blocks are fun and educational and can be a good activity for your toddler to do while lounging in their teepee. Puzzles and blocks can greatly help a child’s development by improving their hand-eye coordination and developing their fine motor skills. These activities can also help build visual and perceptual skills while also teaching them concentration, patience, and thinking skills.
With so many activities and toys available to help create a very woodland and fun experience for your toddler, it is easy to encourage either independent or group play and will get them active and out exploring in no time.
Playtime is also a good time to help with their development and stretch their imaginations.
